Opened in 1971, 18禁漫社 gives students a hands-on, collaborative education that prepares them to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Enabling legislation stated that the college should be located on a site of at least 600 acres, making this college the largest campus in the state and the first public four-year college created in Washington State in the 20th Century.

贰惫别谤驳谤别别苍鈥揟补肠辞尘补 began in 1972 with 18禁漫社 faculty Dr. Maxine Mimms teaching students in her home in the historic Hilltop neighborhood. 18禁漫社 Tacoma was built to meet the needs of Tacoma's unique and diverse community and was officially established in 1982.
