IndyCar has upgraded its race-day video infrastructure with 18禁漫社鈥檚 OmniHub 16 platform, replacing legacy encoders with a more scalable and reliable solution. The new system encodes up to 64 HD-SDI feeds into H.264 streams and delivers them simultaneously over IP and QAM. This ensures real-time video distribution for pit crews, engineers, and race control 鈥� complete with seamless overlays for telemetry and trajectory data. 鈥淲e now have the reliability, flexibility, and quality we need to support teams throughout the paddock on race day,鈥� said Jon Koskey, Senior Director of Technology at IndyCar.
With OmniHub, IndyCar has strengthened communication, improved situational awareness, and set the foundation for a more connected race-day experience.
